       How to get involved
               Joining up

     We are always keen to have new members - the more numerous we are, the more the responsible authorities will be inclined to listen, and more importantly, ACT. Please contact our treasurer Liz Hardiman on (01453) 750145. Our membership fees pay simply for consumables, copying, postage and display materials.

     Minimum membership: £5, £3 (un/low waged) per annum.
Suggested membership: £10 per annum
Donation always welcome: £10 £20 £50 £100

     Of course, you may also have other skills which you are prepared to apply to the cause, and we would be very grateful for this also.

                                     Build the story

       
     Help with our history of the brook - One of our members has started collecting stories about the brook in order to get a better picture of how it used to be and hopefully give us a better understanding of the current problems.

      Already we have reports dating from 1928 and stories of children swimming in the brook and making rafts plus regular kingfishers, eels, trout and sticklebacks. A little different from reports of the last few years that include 'regular flows of soap and bubbles' and 'floating tampons'. We welcome more stories.
